I decided to coach because I was curious as to what coaching was and what methods the coach uses to communicate with me. I received great motivation and confidence from my coach, named Judy Zaba, to get myself up and go for certain goals I wanted to accomplish. Judy is a great coach. She is very friendly, motivating, sweet, smart, and she had a great sense of humor as she coached me through my problems. She put a smile on my face and lit a fire under me that got me up and made me go after one of my goals. Several months ago, I started working with Judy in an attempt to become a better me. It has truly been one of the greatest things I have ever done. In partnership, Judy and I focused on eradicating the obstacles that have limited me throughout my life journey in service of truly living up to my potential (by MY OWN definition of what that potential should look like). I had just gotten promoted at work and felt like I was in over my head. The way I had always done things wasn’t going to get me far in my new position. A good friend of mine recommended coaching, and to work with Judy in particular. I didn’t know what to expect, so I came into it with an open mind. I wanted to be more effective at work and make decisions from a place of confidence and stability. After talking with Judy, I was BLOWN AWAY! She got me thinking about the ways I was BEING, and not just what I was DOING. Judy doesn’t try to solve my problems or give me advice. She asks me what I hope to accomplish and keeps me focused on my goal until I work it out myself. I could not ask for a better experience. I find myself every day pausing to put into practice the conversations Judy and I have. She has pushed me beyond my comfort zone and into my truest self. She doesn’t tell me who I am, or who to be, but allows me the space to express my rawest, best self. So… let’s get to the results! I find myself living and acting from who I AM, and not just who I thought I should be. I have found that by operating from who I am, I have the most sincere effect on those around me. Within 4 months of being promoted, I have been chosen to train new managers. I am seen as an expert in my field, especially in interpersonal skills. Thank you, Judy!
